Did you ever have such a wonderful morning that you're overwhelmed by a sense of impending doom?
I'd lost around 13kg, then I got back on the piss for a week and a day, then ate a pizza and a half yesterday, up two kilos; time to knuckle down. Current weight: 145 kg.
I'm finally getting my six-year-old to eat vegies; the first bowl cost me $50, the second $30, and tomorrow's bowl of vegies will set me back $20. Worth it!
Day two of the school holidays, our food is running low, and water is scarce. We must journey to the store and face the masses. If we make the run unscathed, we will wait it out until school returns. The mood is low; hope for the future is grim—another two weeks until things normalise in this hellhole.
I should focus on my daughter, I can't influence the world, but I can care for my angel.
