No one in my wife's family or my family or most people for that matter ask me how my writing or projects are going or what I've been up to. Why? Maybe because that will lead to me talking about my writing or projects, lol. It's a peculiar thing that has baffled and annoyed me for a long time. And while it still baffles me I have made peace with it and see it as a strength that I can toil in peace and work under the radar. With the exception of two ministers at the local Presbyterian church my wife and I are affiliated with, I can't remember the last time someone asked me what I've been up to or what I've been working on. It's like a glitch in the matrix, God's vale protecting my work.
