It’s Week 3 of 2026. I’m up early, earlier than usual, and I might go back to bed after this. I’m in Week 2 of my new routine and I’m genuinely liking it. The structure is simple. Week 1 is Think Week. That’s desk time. Computer time. Planning, writing scripts, thinking things through without pressure to perform. Week 2 is Act Week. That’s camera time. Shooting. Being on my feet. Doing things around the house. If I’m on the computer, it’s to edit footage I’ve already shot. No planning, no rethinking, just execution. Then I alternate. Back to thinking. Back to acting. Over and over. The biggest change is separation. I’m no longer trying to think and act in the same week, or the same day. That friction was draining me. Act Week feels physical.
