Mondays Monday again, and while many hate Mondays, I love them, I really do; you get to start a new week, a week full of potential that hasn't had life get in the way yet. Saturdays Saturdays are daddy-daughter days, but it was more like daddy-daughter weekend, with time spent with little Turlybird at an all-time high. We had some good fun, but the more fun time I gave her, the more she came back for more. It's a good problem to have. Summer Liz one day, cloudy the next In the last week or so, Liz has been so up and down; generally, her cycles of good time Liz and sombre Liz are far further apart. I don't know if this is a good sign; we will see the one-eyed goat. My writing app I got back to working on my Freewriter app; I'd declared it finished last year and promoted it a little to no avail. I've had about 10 people log into it. Still, after releasing it and using it, I noticed a few bugs here and there, and rather than fixing them, I noted the problem in Workflowy - my no.1 goto app, which I'm happy to pay $40 a year for the pro version. On the Freewriter website, I wrote Alpha (Some Bugs) to let people know there were issues. But after spending two days polishing it up, changing and removing some unnecessary features, what I thought would take a month to finish was done. I even turned it into two separate apps; one was just the freewriting game available at https://freewriter.app , and then I called the full-featured app draftr, which is available here: https://wordsaremagic.freewriter.app . I'm going to put them both in the Windows and Google Chromebook app stores. I spotted an error this morning while using it. And so the cycle continues. Smashing It Liz and I did a lot of walking last week, and on top of exercise with Grace and some time on the stationary bike, we've all been very active. Movie Night Movie night is Friday when we buy lollies, and I get a big bottle of beer. It's a lot of fun but a backward day. We should kill it, but it's something where we all get together, munch and talk, then we go through movies before Grace decides she wants to watch Smurfs, and then Liz and I go and do our own thing once she's immersed in the show. #reflections #funny #works Published 13-9-2025 Written on https://freewriter.app
