The loners association doesn’t meet on the first Thursday of the month. They try to steer clear of interaction with other members of the association, and people in general. Despite this, the organisation’s membership has grown to over 300,000 in NSW. We reached out to members and asked why they thought the organisation had seen such tremendous growth in numbers, but no one wanted to be interviewed, preferring to be left alone. It is theorised that a certain type of people join up and are happy to pay the yearly fees because the organisation respects their boundaries and leaves them the fuck alone.
