When you are overweight it can be oh so easy to put on more weight and the idea of trying to lose it can immobilise you and if you do manage to lose a few punds you body fights to put them back on and a few more for good measure skinny people put it all down to laziness and a lack of desire but throw a couple of bags of potatoes over their shoulders and tell them go be your best self people generally judge fat people harshly for being overweight but their are many ways to get fat some people get fat before their lives are even their own and only have ever known a sedintary lifestyle the mental barriers can be huge i know know i can lose weight i know it is possible so i am open to it because i am fit fat I exercise I started small and just focussed on repetition don't break the chain'make it fun I don't push myself to hard not yet anyway I'm focused more on health than figure I used to believe to get fit you had to be single minded and just focused on fitness putting everything else to the side but that's not true it's all about habit and good habits begit good habits before you know it your buying a cheeseburger rather than a triple cheeseburger I gained my weight through medication so I know what it's like to be skinny and active I know the feeling some have never known that I hate to move my body it's hard but when I do next time it's esier and the time after that even easier I read in a book recently that the three factors that are prevelant in most who have lost weight and managed to keep it off is wait for it weighing yourself daily having some form of exercise equipment to exercise at home and to eat breakfast every day this derailed me before i thought thats what I have to do 'so i brought and exercise bike quit my gym membership and put scales in my office Since then I've yet to get back on the horse I've spent this time adapting the bike i brought to make it work wider seat pedls that didn't have metal teath and straps that i could get my feet into I've mdified the handlebars so I don't have to lean forward when riding I'll do a few more adjustments today and start my new routine on monday two days away lets see if that book is full of shit I will not give up whether I lose weight is secondary to having a sharp mind plenty of energy and good health so I don't die in my fifties or sixties wish me luck love always fatty #poetry #works Published 10-2-2026 Written on https://freewriter.app
